The Cage.

 Though we may not admit, that everyone is born free, but he is in shackles throughout his life. In all walks of life one has to face and counter the challenges. The examinations in the schools are lot more different than the exams in the real life. From cradle to grave obstacles and hindrances come in our way. It is apparently through the wisdom that one emerges in flying colours against all odds. Though we have read in our school books that 'Life is not a bed of roses', we choose to willingly forget.

     As rightly said by someone 'Ignorance is bliss', hence we choose the easy way through. But, Ignorance could lead to serious consequences, we ignore the warning. Right from the childhood we are taught to be cautious and careful in life, but we choose to disobey. When the child is in school, he thinks that that everything is a cakewalk. But, as he grows older he realizes that what he thought earlier isn't true. Lavish lifestyle that he dreams of in his school days are all gone. He reaches the conclusion that in order to realize his dreams he would have to work hard.

  Sam was a person with high ambitions, as he cleared his college recently, was inexperienced. He dreamt very high and was aspiring to become a lawyer. His ambitions were leading him to sleepless nights and he turned insomniac. He planned for his future staying awake at nights, and also was engaged in soliloquies at times. He was a novice and couldn't differentiate between the thin line between a dream and it's realization. However he was instructed by his father at times that in order to realize his dreams, he had to work very hard. He built castles in air in his dreams, but escaped the groundwork. 

  He got angry, when someone from his family or his father showed him the mirror. He merely talked that I will do this, i will do that but how will i do that was not his concern. This habit was drawing him back as he was unable to meet the deadlines of his schedule. He was drawing back in life as well as his work and studies. His stature was being questioned, by his mates. At times he grew so furious that he almost lost his temper on his friends, who seemed to be getting ahead of him in studies.

  One fine evening, he introspected, within himself. He contemplated, that he thought of a bright future during the college days. He realized that something was not going right, why was he getting behind his friends, in studies. Suddenly, he saw an ant who was carrying a big loaf of bread, much bigger than it's size. It tried very hard to pull it to it's destination. Many a times, it failed, but with consistent efforts it succeeded to take it to it's dwelling hole. This sparkled a series of thouhts in Sam. He realized that had the ant only thought of pulling that bread loaf, it wouldn't have succeeded. It was with indomitable efforts that the ant saw success. He took a vow that very day, that he will work ceaselessly from that day onwards without wasting any further time in futile dreaming.

    On the bed that night, he uttered, " Life is a cage, if you don't have the right key to unlock it"

The Desire.

 The desire for life, stays young,

It never quenches the flung.

This is an insatiable desire,

Perhaps the most sung choir.   

Better it is to stay contained,

And keep your wishes constrained,

Or else will lead to a turmoil,

Entire life will become a spoil.

Wish

 

A wish is the aspiration,

Which tempts from inspiration.

Wishes come true from actions,

And cause equal and opposite reactions.

Wishing something and shirking,

Will lead only to smirking.

Dispense.

 Don't we think that the nature is a dispense,

 We exploit it without any expense,

  When we face problems that are dense,

  That is where life unravels the suspense.

  The greatest dispense from nature,

  In it's strictest form of legislature,

  Is the unalterable norm of actions,

  Which repays one in every bit and fractions.

A dispense is an act of bestowal,

 Is a truth that is global,

 Only a magnanimous can do such act,

It is a true and proven fact.

The Path not traversed.

 

 When someone takes an unusual path,

 He has to face many unaccustomed odds,

 Though he has to feel the people's wrath,

 And that also to bear the negative nods.

Life is always a twofold untraveled road,

Which everyone has to erode,

All have to decipher it's secret code,

Turn their switches to a work mode.

The path that is uncommon,

Is usually less people have travelled,

Though the interests may vary in common,

Ultimately, the life's mysteries lies unravelled.

Just behave.

 Recruitment- jobs are the major issues of attraction of one's attention. This has always been the thought drawing term in the society. Nowadays, the competition has grown so tough and sturdy that one has to give his 100%, in order to attain one. The fight for a decent job is an inevitable one in the metro cities as well . With the entry of more and more multinational companies, there has been relaxation to some extent.

        Vicky was an average middle class youth. he completed his academics from a reputed college of the city. He was born and brought up in the city itself, hence was more or less sophisticated in his approach. After obtaining a college degree, just like other friends, he started looking for a decent job. He had applied for various govt. jobs, but since the results took longer to be released, the waiting period was long enough.

       In the meantime, like his friends he tried to try his luck at multinational company jobs. He didn't really wanted to work in a private environment, but out of social pressure he had to appear for interviews. Many of his friends were already working in the these companies and drawing good salaries, eventually. When he met them, they kind of punned on Vicky, because he was unemployed. 

      Hence out of the social discrimination between the employed and the unemployed, he had to appear in the interviews. Once, while the time he was sitting for the interview, for a manger's job he met witha surprise. There were so many youngster's who came along for the interview, all highly educated. Some were MBA and some were technically qualified. Vicky was a post graduate in humanities and not very technically educated. He was getting nervous as the crowd there was letting him feel offbeat.

    He however, was noticing one shortcoming in the traits of those youngsters and that was that they all used slang a lot and were lacking in manners. He contemplated within himself, that if the interviewer would be a gentleman, he would honestly consider Vicky's application for the job. On this note he kept awaiting his turn. After a consistent wait for an hour or so, the peon called up his name. He went inside confidently, though in a well mannered style. 

   The interviewer asked him to take a seat he thanked and bid adulation. There were two people in the room, one (as he introduced himself) was the Human resources manager and the other one was a psychologist. Vicky was asked a few questions relating to his education and hobbies. The most tricky was that what would he do if, he didn't get this job? Vicky answered it quite comfortably and diplomatically. He said that since he didn't leave any stone unturned and has nearly answered all the questions correctly, he din't imagine that he will not get the job. However, if it happens, he would not lose hope and will try for the job again after the 'cool off' period of 6 months. he praised the brand and the company.

  Then there was a question based on psychological test and that was, what made people different from each other. He answered it cleverly and said that it was the behavior which distinguished people. Hence we should 'just behave' This reply clicked and was given an offer letter with handsome salary. 

  In our lives, we find different kinds of personalities, some pleasant and some very disgusting, hence we should just keep the checks on our behavior and everything else will fall into place.

 A more common word to shed obligation,

An usual way to say that you are grateful,

To come out of an indebted situation,

That u are offering credit plateful.

Thank you is more often used,

To show that you are filled with gratitude,

To show that you are obligingly enthused,

You reflect your manners while are enthused.

Thank you is an immortal word without an end,

It can be said for anything and everything,

On this expression you can always depend,

Always used with the situations upswing !
